These Terms of Use and Sale govern access to Felivis.com, Felivis educational materials, quizzes, email resources, digital products, and related services. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase a product.
About Felivis
Felivis provides educational information and organizational tools for cat owners. Felivis is not a veterinary clinic, emergency animal hospital, insurance agency, law firm, or financial adviser.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to purchase a Felivis product. A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising use by a minor.
Educational information only
Felivis content, quizzes, and products are for general educational and organizational purposes. They do not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, emergency services, individualized medical advice, insurance coverage advice, legal advice, or financial advice.
Felivis content cannot account for a particular cat’s examination, laboratory results, medications, medical history, or changing condition. Use of Felivis does not establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship or another professional relationship.
Emergency warning
Do not use a Felivis quiz, checklist, journal, article, email, or product to delay veterinary care. Repeated straining with little or no urine, inability to urinate, severe pain, vomiting with urinary distress, weakness, collapse, or severe illness may require emergency veterinary attention. Contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately.
Quiz results
Felivis quizzes provide general action categories, not diagnoses. Results may be incomplete or inappropriate when information is missing, misunderstood, or changes after completion. A quiz result does not override veterinary advice or guarantee that a condition is minor, urgent, or non-urgent.
Digital products
Felivis products may include downloadable PDFs, checklists, trackers, planners, journals, worksheets, templates, and bundles. Product pages describe the principal contents, format, price, and intended use. Minor design, pagination, or formatting differences that do not materially change the described function do not make a product defective.
Prices and payment
Unless checkout states otherwise, prices are displayed in U.S. dollars, payment is a one-time charge, purchases do not automatically renew, applicable taxes may be added, and payment is processed by a third-party provider. Felivis does not intentionally store complete payment-card details.
Felivis may correct pricing, product-description, or checkout errors before completing an order and may refuse, cancel, or refund an order because of suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, technical error, legal restriction, product unavailability, or an incorrect price.
Order acceptance and delivery
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but may not constitute final acceptance while payment verification or fraud review remains incomplete. A completed order normally occurs when payment is accepted and download instructions are issued.
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address, checking spam folders, using compatible software and devices, downloading files within any stated access period, and keeping a private backup. Felivis does not guarantee permanent hosting or lifetime download access unless a product page expressly promises it.
Refunds
Purchases are subject to the Refund Policy. Because digital products cannot be physically returned after delivery or access, purchases are generally final except for verified duplicate charges, delivery failures, incorrect or defective files, and rights required by law.
Personal Use License
Purchasing a product grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal household use. You may download the product, print reasonable copies for your household, keep a private backup, and privately share completed records with your veterinarian for your cat’s care.
You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, publicly post, share with other households, remove Felivis branding and claim the work as your own, use the files as paid client materials, or include them in a commercial course, membership, clinic, rescue, shelter, or business service without written permission. See the Personal Use License.
Website content and intellectual property
The Felivis name, logo, website design, original writing, illustrations, downloads, quizzes, product layouts, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Public content may be viewed for personal, noncommercial use. Ordinary linking to public Felivis pages is permitted when it is not misleading and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Prohibited conduct
- Interfere with website security or operation.
- Attempt unauthorized access or introduce malware.
- Scrape personal information or unreasonably burden the website with automated systems.
- Impersonate another person or submit fraudulent orders or refund claims.
- Use Felivis for unlawful activity.
- Reproduce or distribute protected content without permission.
- Use Felivis branding to falsely imply affiliation, certification, or endorsement.
User communications and reviews
When you send a message, correction request, review, or other communication, you represent that you have the right to provide it. Felivis may use it to respond, provide support, investigate an issue, or improve services. Felivis will not publicly use your name, photograph, review, or personal story as a testimonial without appropriate permission.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may not contain false statements, confidential information, harassment, unlawful content, or unsupported veterinary claims. Felivis will not condition an incentive on a positive review and will not suppress a genuine negative review merely because it is unfavorable.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Felivis does not currently use affiliate links or accept sponsored product placement. If compensation, free products, commissions, or another material benefit is introduced, the relationship will be disclosed clearly near the relevant recommendation. Compensation does not convert advertising into veterinary advice or guarantee suitability.
Third-party products and links
Felivis may discuss or link to independent products, retailers, veterinary organizations, insurers, clinics, or services. Felivis does not control and is not responsible for their availability, prices, terms, privacy practices, quality, warranties, delivery, veterinary services, or representations. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
No guaranteed outcomes
Felivis does not guarantee a particular veterinary or health outcome, suitability for every cat or household, prevention of an emergency, a particular diagnosis, insurance eligibility or reimbursement, uninterrupted website access, permanent product availability, or that every item of information is complete, current, or error-free.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Felivis services and products are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. Felivis disclaims implied warranties to the extent they may lawfully be disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not exclude a warranty or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Felivis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, reliance on educational content, delayed veterinary care, loss of files, third-party services, or use of a digital product.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Felivis’s aggregate liability arising from a paid product will not exceed the greater of the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Website availability and changes
Felivis may modify, suspend, or discontinue functions, content, or products and may correct errors or update educational materials. Material corrections will be handled under the Editorial and Corrections Policies.
Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law in another jurisdiction applies. Any proceeding that may lawfully be required to take place in Virginia will be brought in a state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction in Virginia.
General provisions
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without written consent. Felivis may transfer these terms as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, asset sale, or transfer of the business.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Medical Disclaimer, and Personal Use License, form the applicable agreement concerning use of the website and purchases.
Changes to these terms
Felivis may revise these terms when products, technology, business practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated. The terms presented at the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.
