Felivis respects the privacy of visitors, subscribers, and customers. This Privacy Policy explains what information Felivis collects, why it is collected, how it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and what choices are available to you. “Felivis,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of Felivis.com.
Scope
This policy applies to Felivis.com, Felivis quizzes and educational tools, free-resource and product-notification forms, contact and support forms, digital-product orders and delivery, email communications, cookies, analytics, and other interactions that link to this policy.
It does not govern independent veterinary clinics, emergency animal hospitals, payment providers, retailers, or other third parties that have their own privacy policies.
Information you provide
Felivis may collect information you voluntarily submit, including your name, email address, contact-form message, customer-support communication, order number, product information, refund or technical-support request, and communication preferences.
Please do not submit complete payment-card numbers, account passwords, government identification numbers, human medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through Felivis forms or email.
Purchase and transaction information
When purchasing is active, Felivis and its payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and digital-delivery providers may process your name, email address, billing country or region, product purchased, order value, currency, tax, transaction status, payment method type, order number, and delivery status. Felivis does not intentionally receive or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.
Quiz and educational-tool information
Felivis quizzes provide educational action categories and do not provide veterinary diagnoses. Felivis analytics are configured not to store individual quiz answers, cat names, contact-form text, or information that identifies a particular cat. Analytics may record limited events such as quiz started, quiz completed, and the broad result category.
Do not enter names, veterinary records, or other identifying information into a quiz unless a form clearly explains why it is requested.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, Felivis and its service providers may automatically receive information such as Internet Protocol address, approximate geographic area, browser and device type, operating system, referring page or campaign, pages viewed, buttons selected, session duration, date and time of access, and security or error information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary technologies
These support website security, shopping-cart operation, checkout, fraud prevention, load balancing, cookie-preference storage, and digital-product access. They may be necessary for a requested service to function.
Analytics technologies
With consent where required, Felivis may use analytics to understand aggregate website use, content performance, quiz completion, downloads, and shopping activity. Analytics must not receive complete payment details, email addresses, names, contact-form messages, or individual quiz answers.
Marketing technologies
Felivis does not currently use personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this policy and the website’s privacy controls will be updated before the new use is activated.
How information is used
- Provide the website and requested features.
- Generate educational quiz results.
- Deliver requested resources and purchased files.
- Process orders, support requests, corrections, and eligible refunds.
- Send requested product-launch notices.
- Send educational or commercial email when permitted.
- Maintain transaction, consent, and tax records.
- Measure aggregate performance and improve content, navigation, products, and accessibility.
- Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
- Enforce Felivis terms and licenses and comply with legal obligations.
Email communications
A person may request a checklist, download link, or transactional message without agreeing to unrelated promotional email. Ongoing marketing consent is requested separately and is optional. Commercial emails will include an unsubscribe method. Necessary order, download, security, or support messages may still be sent when appropriate.
Felivis may retain limited suppression-list information after an unsubscribe request so the address is not accidentally added back to promotional lists.
How information may be shared
Felivis may disclose information to service providers that perform website hosting, security, email delivery, analytics, customer support, payment processing, tax calculation, fraud prevention, digital-file delivery, data storage, accounting, professional advice, or website maintenance. Providers receive information appropriate to the service they perform and may also be subject to their own legal obligations.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or valid legal process, to investigate fraud or security threats, to enforce legal rights, to protect users or others, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.
Sale and targeted advertising
Felivis does not sell personal information for money and does not currently share personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention
- Order, payment, and tax records: generally up to seven years.
- Customer-support, refund, and contact records: generally up to two years after resolution.
- Promotional email records: until you unsubscribe or the list is retired, with limited suppression information retained afterward.
- Analytics event-level data: generally up to 14 months.
- Security and technical records: generally up to 12 months unless a longer period is necessary to investigate an incident.
- Consent records: as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate or manage consent.
Information may be retained longer when required by law, accounting obligations, fraud prevention, a litigation hold, or legitimate security needs. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained longer.
Your privacy choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of certain information; withdraw consent; opt out of promotional email; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising; and appeal a privacy-request decision.
Email hello@felivis.com with the subject Privacy Request. Felivis may request information reasonably necessary to confirm identity and locate relevant records. Felivis may retain information it is legally required or permitted to keep.
Children’s privacy
Felivis is designed for adults responsible for companion-animal care. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact Felivis for review and deletion.
Data security
Felivis uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. If Felivis becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, it will investigate and provide legally required notifications when applicable.
International access
Felivis is operated from the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from those in your country.
Third-party websites and services
Felivis may link to veterinary organizations, clinics, retailers, product manufacturers, payment providers, and other third parties. Felivis does not control their privacy, security, availability, or content. Review their policies before providing personal information.
Changes to this policy
Felivis may update this policy to reflect changes in services, technologies, vendors, legal requirements, or business practices. The effective date will be revised when the policy changes.
